SubscribeSite Search Improvements
To prepare for our upcoming appearance in Parachutist (look for us to be mentioned in the Feb 2010 issue in the 5 minute call section), we wanted to clean up a few parts to the site. And since we are constantly improving, we tackled the search first. The search results are now much more comprehensive. (For the geeks in the community since the skydiving community seems to have a disproportionate amount of, we installed Thinking Sphinx and are using that to index and search all our content). So whereas before your searches only searched the business name, tags, and description, now it weights them and includes, city, states, countries and URLs. We will soon be incorporating reviews into the search results as well.
We have also changed the layout a little to change size with your browser. This looks a little cleaner (in our humble opinion) and allows us to provide you with more content and a bigger map.
